I'm a Movie Star! No really! Stop laughing . . . This is me at the Red Carpet in Hollywood. I know, I know. So crazy. So not my life. But it SO really happened! Here's the story. After I wrote my first book, Never Letting Go of Hope, I remember telling one of my editors that I really wished I could send a copy to my childhood friend Sean. I hadn't seen her in 22 years though and was sure I'd never see her or talk to her again. (This was before Facebook) Well, my editor found her miraculously and gave me her address. So I mailed her the book and then days later got a call from Sean. She's flown out a couple times to hang out with me and the family and it was fun catching up. Well, Glamour Magazine has this contest called Reel Moments by Real Women. Sean writes a little essay about our friendship and Jessica Biel picks it out of thousands of entries to base her short film on. The Red Carpet Premier was October 25th. And I was there!! Not only that . . . I was in the movie. I know, I know. So crazy. Do you want to see it? Really? Okay, go to www.glamourreelmoments.com and click on the film Sodales. It's so cute and Jessica did an AMAZING job directing it. You'll have to let me know what you think about it. But in the mean time. It's back to my real life. Car pools, cooking, cleaning and every now and then, a little writing. But it sure was fun! |
To purchase any of my books you can go to Seagull Books Stores, Deseret Book Stores, most LDS Bookstores, or online at www.cedarfort.com, www.amazon.com or wwwdeseretbook.com. Have Fun Shopping! |
